Point-based quotation (only available on PC)

US Treasury futures trade in full percentage points. The 5-year US Treasury contract, for example, has a minimum tick size of 1/4 of 1/32 of a point. For example, 119'160 represents 119 16/32, 119'162 represents 119 16.25/32, 119'165 represents 119 16.5/32, and 119'167 represents 119 16.75/32. Par value is based on 100 points.

On Futubull, US Treasury futures are quoted in decimal format by default.

Example: 119'167 = 119 + 16.75/32 = 119.5234375

If you choose the point-based quotation, the order price you enter is assumed to be a point-based price, but the trading system will automatically convert it to a decimal price according to the conversion rules before placing an order. After the order is placed, you can view the actual order price on your mobile or by converting the point-based price to a decimal price.

4. Risk statement

4.1 If you choose the point-based quotation, the order price you enter is assumed to be a point-based price, but the trading system will automatically convert it to a decimal price according to the conversion rules before placing an order.

Therefore, the converted order price may not be accurate, and Futu does not guarantee a best order price.

(1) Example 1: Under the decimal quotation, both 119.52375 and 119.5234375 can be converted to the same point-based number, i.e. 119'167.

However, if you place an order at 119'167, the actual order price will be 119.5234375 according to the conversion rules.

(2) Example 2: You place an order at the decimal price of 119.52375 on your mobile phone. On PC, the price will be 119'167 if displayed in point-based format. If you modify the order on PC by editing the price to 119'167 (no change in number), the actual order price will change (since the decimal price corresponding to 119'167 is calculated as 119.5234375 according to the conversion rules).

4.2 The point-based quotation is a convenient online trading method specially developed by Futu for clients. Please fully understand the above rules before making any decision. Futu Securities shall not be responsible for any loss of any kind.
