You can trade futures and futures options just by following the three steps below: opening a futures account, transferring funds, and placing an order. Here is how you can do it:
You must have a securities accounts before you can activate futures trading permission.
If you already have a securities account and wish to trade futures or futures options (i.e., HK index futures options and CME futures options), you can activate futures trading permissions by tapping Trade on the quotes page of any futures or futures options.
You can transfer funs only through cash transfer so that your futures account has sufficient funds for trading.
Cash transfer: Funds are transferred from your securities account to your futures account for trading, and transferred funds will be credited to your futures account in real time.
To transfer funds, you can: 「APP > Any Account > Transfers > Cash Transfer > Futu HK Cash Transfer > Select transfer currency」
Futures: 「App > Bottom menu "Markets" > Top of the page "Futures" > Select different markets > Click futures to trade」
HK Index Futures Options: 「App > Markets > Top of the page "Futures" > HK > HSI/MHI etc. > Options > Click options to trade」
US Futures Options:「App > Markets > Top of the page "Futures" > US > Index/FX/Agriculture etc. > Options > Click options to trade」
