What is the after-hours trading session (for the Hong Kong market)

1. Definition

As one of the continuous trading sessions, the after-hours trading session is a period of time when investors can trade certain futures contracts; transactions taking place during the after-hours trading session on a trading day shall be deemed to take place on the next trading day (T+1).

Example: All orders occurring from 5:15 PM on December 5th to 3:00 AM on December 6th and from 9:15 AM to 4:30 PM on December 6th shall be deemed to occur on December 6th, and can be viewed and operated via 「Today's Order」.


2. Futures contracts that can trade during the after-hours trading session

Hang Seng Index futures & options (including weekly options), Mini-Hang Seng Index futures & options (including weekly options), Hang Seng China Enterprises Index futures & options (including weekly options), Mini-Hang Seng China Enterprises Index futures & options (including weekly options), MSCI index futures, and USD gold futures.
