1. What is "Futu Media Account Verification"?

"Futu Media Account Verification" is a process in which the Futubull Community verifies the identity of the media applicant for a Futu Media Account based on the information submitted by the applicant. Only upon verification can the applicant obtain a Futu Media Account, with a verified badge and identification information displayed under the account name.

2. What is an annual review?

A Futu Media Account is effective for 365 days upon verification, and shall become invalid automatically after expiration. The applicant for the Futu Media Account needs to initiate and complete an annual review 30 days ahead of the expiration date. If the applicant fails to complete the annual review in time or the annual review fails, the Futu Media Account will become invalid after the expiration date, and the rights and benefits under the Futu Media Account will be terminated.

3. What are the process and required materials for Futu Media Account verification?

3.3 Which type of business registration certification is applicable?

If the entity is registered in China Mainland, please provide the Business License issued by the industry and commerce administration authority by uploading a photo of the HD color version of the new Three-in-One Business License.

If the entity is registered outside China Mainland, please provide the Certificate of Incorporation or Business Registration Certificate by uploading a photo of the certified true copy of the same.

4. Where to obtain review results and what are the reasons for verification failure?

4.1 Time required for information review and where to obtain the results

We will review your information and materials and notify you of the results within three (3) working days.

You can obtain the results via email, Futubull in-app notification, and Futu Media Account Verification.

4.2 Common reasons and explanations for verification failure

Reason 1: illegible/missing materials

The photo you submitted may be distorted, blurred, inverted, overlaid with watermarks, or unidentifiable, or the original in the photo is broken.

Solution: Please re-upload a satisfactory photo, and make sure that the photo is clear, complete, and without watermarks.

Reason 2: inauthentic certification

The certification you submitted does not have legal effect due to expired registration, lack of seal, or fakeness.

Solution: Please re-upload a true certification with legal effect.

Reason 3: inconsistency between the information entered and the materials uploaded

The identity information on the Futu Media Account operator is inconsistent with that in the "Authorization Letter".

Solution: Please make sure that the information (including name and ID number) in the identity certificate of the operator is consistent with that in the "Authorization Letter".

5. How to modify or update submitted materials?

5.1 How to modify submitted materials

● If the submitted materials have been reviewed, you can go to Futu Media Account Verification, re-upload the updated materials, and submit them;

5.2 Where to obtain review results

After you re-submit the updated materials, we will review them and notify you of the results within three (3) working days. You can obtain the results via email, Futubull in-app notification, and Futu Media Account Verification.
