2.2 About the advisory fee

  1. Calculation method: The advisory fee for each Robo-Advisor ETF Portfolio held is calculated by multiplying the latest fee rate applicable by the portfolio's end-of-day market value (natural day).

  2. Fee accrual: The advisory fee is incurred on a daily basis (assuming a 365-day year) during the time a Robo-Advisor ETF Portfolio is held. When you close all positions in the portfolio and the closed position is settled, the advisory fee will stop incurring.

  3. Billing cycle: The advisory fee is charged automatically every month on a portfolio basis. Advisory fee incurred but unpaid for portfolios currently held or sold will be accumulated and charged automatically on the next billing date.

  4. Paying account: The advisory fee will be debited from your universal account holding the portfolio(s).

  5. The advisory fee mentioned above may change over time, and prior notifications will be sent as soon as reasonably practicable.

  6. All fees paid are not refundable.

  7. Definitions

  • Market value: The number of settled ETF portfolio units times the closing price during the regular trading hours (RTH) of US stock market, excluding cash dividends and any other cash generated by previous or current positions in the portfolios. Please note that due to reasons such as dividend distribution, the RTH official close price may be adjusted and updated after that trading day. For non-trading days (including Sats and Suns), the market value of the lastpreceding trading day will be used. The end-of-day ETF portfolio market value used to calculate advisory fees will NOT take such subsequent adjustments into account after the advisory fees have incurred for that day.

  • End-of-day market value: The number of ETF portfolio units times the official RTH closing price. Here, "end-of-day" refers to the end of RTH on each calendar day where the US stock market opens. For example, for US stocks, the normal RTH ends at around 16:30 EST.

  • Robo-Advisor ETF Portfolio(s) held: The ETF portfolio(s) that have been settled by the cut-off time specified in each market.
