    How to open a corporate account

    Eligibility

    • For Hong Kong and overseas companies (excluding US-registered companies) only.
    • Limited liability companies only. Unlimited liability companies will not be accepted.

    1. Required documents

    Notes:

    1. The list of required documents is for reference only. We reserve the right to request any additional necessary documents.

    2. All copies must be certified by practicing accountants, lawyers, notaries public, Justices of the Peace, or Chartered Secretaries as true copies of the originals. The certification date must be within the last 3 months.

    1.1 For Hong Kong-registered companies:

    1) Certificate of Incorporation or other registration proofs

    2) Certificate of Change of Company Name (if applicable)

    3) Business Registration Certificate

    4) Memorandum and Articles of Association (latest version)

    5) Latest Annual Return (NAR1 Form) or Incorporation form (NNC1 Form for new companies)

    6) Notice of Change of Company Secretary and Director (Appointment/Cessation) (ND2A Form) (if applicable)

    7) Share Transfer documents (if applicable)

    8) Shareholding structure chart signed by company director (latest version)

    9) Board Resolution/Meeting Minutes

    10) Latest Audited Report (if applicable)

    11) Copies of identity documents (ID card/passport) of directors, shareholders, and authorized persons

    12) Proof of address of directors, shareholders, and authorized persons (issued within three months)

    13) For multi-layered companies: trace and collect identity documents of all intermediate companies and ultimate beneficial owners with 25% or more ownership (until natural persons, regulated corporations, listed companies, or governments are identified) (if applicable)

    16) W-8BEN-E or W-8IMY Form

    17) Qualified A-Share TTEP (Trade-through Exchange Participant) certification document (if available)

    1.2 For overseas companies

    1) Certificate of Incorporation or other registration proofs

    2) Certificate of Change of Company Name (if applicable)

    3) Certificate of Incumbency issued by local registered agent (including Certificate of Good Standing) - issued within the last 6 months

    4) Memorandum and Articles of Association (latest version)

    5) Register of Directors

    6) Register of Shareholders

    7) Shareholding structure chart signed by company director (latest version)

    8) Board Resolution/Meeting Minutes

    9) Audited Report (latest fiscal year) (if applicable)

    10) Copies of identity documents (ID card/passport) of directors, shareholders, and authorized persons

    11) Proof of address of directors, shareholders, and authorized persons (issued within three months)

    2. Account opening process

    Once the required documents are ready, please submit your account application via this link.

    We usually review applications within 10 business days. Results will be sent to your registered email and/or through app notifications.

    If your application is unsuccessful, you can:

    1. Review the feedback provided by our team
    2. Make necessary changes to your application
    3. Re-upload the required documents

    If your application is approved, please:

    1. Download the required documents and sign the corresponding documents
    2. Have the document copies certified by an external professional*
    3. Mail the signed and certified documents to our office:

    *All copies must be certified as true copies of the originals. Certification must be performed by practicing accountants, lawyers, notaries public, Justices of the Peace, or Chartered Secretaries, and the certification date must be within the last 3 months.
